Kersia UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Ashmore as Area Sales Manager for the Southwest and Wales, strengthening its dedicated Pig and Poultry business unit. Dan’s extensive industry experience and practical knowledge of poultry production and hatchery management position him perfectly to deliver results for producers across the region.
With a career spanning almost 30 years, Dan’s path began with Deb Disposables before progressing to Dove Valley Poultry (later part of Moy Park). In 2003, he transitioned into Moy Park’s agriculture division, where he took on increasing responsibilities, ultimately managing the UK’s largest single-build hatchery. More recently, Dan served as GB performance manager for hatcheries and broilers under Pilgrim’s ownership, further honing his strategic and operational expertise.
“There’s a real potential for Kersia to contribute positively to the changes happening in the industry, which I’m eager to identify and pursue in my new role,” says Dan. “I look forward to meeting customers, understanding their needs, and helping them achieve their goals with Kersia’s innovative product range and support services.”
